Half a year later. 14:33

Hello people I'm back blogging!

Can't believe it's almost half a year since I left home. Everything's fine over here and I'm starting to miss all the good food back in Malaysia. I miss skipping English classes during college to eat snowflake with my friends. I miss the truck selling the best chee cheong fun and tiramisu bubble tea outside my university. I miss eating chilli pan mee and the best petaling street beef noodles with my friends and family. I miss my mom's braised pork belly (although I used to dislike it). Despite all these food cravings, I'm still eating a lot and gained (gasps) 3kg *tears*

Taken with my housemates the other day during winter solstice.
And yes those are my wooden chopsticks which I brought along from home.

We don't usually cook that many dishes, but when we do we regret immediately later when our stomach threaten to explode. We usually cook dinner together unless I'm working or one of us is eating out that night. One thing I realized when staying here is that Chinese food is the best ever.

Glasgow is a very quiet city compared to other major cities in UK. In fact during Christmas, I was walking back from the church and there were no people, no cars in sight and most of the restaurants were closed. I guess the locals were probably celebrating at home. The same goes to new year eve as well. Unlike back in Malaysia, fireworks can be heard and seen everywhere. Here in glasgow, there's no firework in sight and the most happening place are probably the bars and clubs.

So the other day (very long time ago), my friends and I went to the local park to watch firework display during Guy Fawkes night.

Blur picture of the firework but somehow I like it.

Funny how I started this blog because I wanted to write down all the things I'm experiencing so I can read it next time in the future so I know what I went through as a young adult. It's almost spring now in Glasgow and yet all the photos I'm posting now is taken during autumn.

More update at the next blog entry! Hopefully about the London trip!
